About the Cartoon...
My little
cup of Caffeine humor all started back in 2003 as
"the Daily Grind" comic panel. Started with
really no intention of going anywhere... except to
make a few people laugh at local coffee shop I knew.
After drawing a few panels, my fan base grew... and
before I knew it "Coffee Comics" was
born.
I
grabbed the website domain coffeecomics and posted a
weekly panel for about a year... then I guess you
could say all hell broke lose in my life. (I'll spare
you details ) Long story short... The Humor of Coffee
Comics is Back in Black !
The
name has been changed to "CoffeeComix" to
add a unique edge... ( and because I'm a dope and
didn't keep the domain name coffeecomics which I had,
but now has been turned into just a stupid advertising
links webpage
living off the traffic I built... ) But, I'm not
bitter... I'm moving on, re-named and re-brewed .... I
hope you enjoy the BRAND NEW ( but with history)
CoffeeComix !
About the artist...
Well
what should I say here... I was born in a small town in
Missouri famous for its insane asylum.... ( no really ) I
lived in many various states growing up, but I claim
Oklahoma as where "I am from"... why? I guess
because it sounds better than Missouri... but I could claim
Hawaii if wanted.
After
high school, I joined the US Navy at the same time one of my
good friends did... he ended up in South Carolina, I ended
up in Hawaii... I never saw my buddy again for 6 years, go
figure. I met my wife while I was in Hawaii though, my
lovely bride Mika, we both miss Hawaii, but we try not to
sulk about it. Maybe if I get rich and famous from this
comic strip we'll go on vacation ... Hawaii is the home of
KONA Coffee ya know... maybe I could write it off as a business trip.
Now I
live in Columbus, Ohio... which is a perfectly average place
to live and a perfect place for me to build my CoffeeComix
empire. Join my Caffeine Clan by signing up for the

CoffeeComix,
published FRESH (just about) every Monday morning, is a comic
about Life and of course Coffee. It will be featured here on
this website, on T-Shirts, on mugs and basically plastered
all over my coffee shop if I ever open one.
I hope
you find the cartoons somewhat amusing, feel free to email
me and let me know what you think.
(You
can help put CoffeeComix in a paper near you)
